A content lead at YAAS is responsible for the creative management, growth and retention of one IP.

Key Expectations

• Own channel growth end-to-end: Creative strategy, channel management, script development, performance tracking, and team coordination
• Write and arrive at content formats tailored to brand tone, voice and growth plans of the channels
• Maintain approval quality: Ensure first-draft approval rates remain high; iterate quickly based on feedback
• Set creative direction: Establish tone, content formats, storytelling frameworks, and content pillars for your pod
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with production, strategy, sound design and other pods to ensure creative alignment
• Stay trend-forward: Monitor platform trends, audience behaviour, and competitor content to keep the channel fresh

Key words

• IP - An Instagram/Youtube channel that we run for a brand. It could be an organic IP where we start the channel with 0 followers. It could also be a brand channel in some cases. Either ways we are responsible to make the brand relevant by turning their online presence into that of a relatable creator channel which is informative/entertaining.
• Pod - You will be writing on one to two channels. A pod will usually have a content lead and a a creative engineer
